Museum of Ventura County
Business Challenge
In April of 2021 the Museum of Ventura County prepared to reopen their doors following the pandemic and hoped to use the opportunity to reposition themselves as a community center and a gathering place for immersive, culturally relevant experiences.
How We Helped
CoverlyPro began by writing a comprehensive Marketing Plan, followed by implementation of a social media strategy, press relations, media placement, campaign messaging and other essential marketing services.
The CoverlyPro team was also integral in overseeing VC150 anniversary publicity on behalf of the Museum.
Results
- In 2022, garnered the Museum of Ventura County $47,000 in free earned media exposure.
- Reached over 65K impressions over a three-month period, resulting in 104% growth on Instagram; over 117% growth on Twitter; and just under 50% growth on Facebook. Over the course of a year, achieved 650+K total impressions.
- In one year, grew social followers by over 15% while achieving 17K likes, 1,300 shares, and 12K clicks.
What They Said
“Working with Coverly Professional Services for the last three years, has given our marketing the boost we needed. The CoverlyPro team ensured we had a Marketing Plan in place from which to build our social media and public relations strategies. They’ve achieved some amazing metrics for the Museum including achieving $50,000 in earned media exposure this last year and exponentially increasing our visibility and engagement on social media. Mostly, though, I appreciate their creativity and flexibility, always having our back, sometimes with very quick turnaround, to help us promote the many activities at the Museum. CoverlyPro is a true treasure.”
